Who are you, and what do you do at MOSAIC?
My name is Bridgette Morgan and I'm a Teacher at MOSAIC. I've been teaching for over twenty years. I love reading, cooking and trying new recipes. Teaching has given me the opportunity to learn about different cultures and meet some really wonderful students.
What is your favourite thing about teaching online classes?
Teaching online is more convenient for me as I have a long commute. Being able to teach online is also easier for a lot of students as they can cut down on time commuting and for parents it's an added benefit as they can learn from the comfort of home without having to worry about paying for childcare.
What’s your favourite spot in Vancouver?
Hmm my favourite place is Granville Island. I love the variety of products available at the market. Granville Island is beautiful.
What advice do you have for someone learning English?
For someone learning English, I would advise that person to practice using the language. That means speaking English as often as you can. Listening to podcasts, watching English TV shows and movies are all great ways to improve your English. In addition, getting out and meeting new people would help as well.
