At MOSAIC, we want to make registering for your IELTS test as simple as possible. This page will tell you everything you need to know about the process, divided into three main categories.

First, you will be asked to select test format, date and location.

Next, you will pay for the test.

Finally, you must upload a valid Identification (Passport or PR CARD) to your account.

Registering for the Test in 10 Easy Steps

Step 2: Select country, special arrangements, and month.

 
 

Step 3: Choose the location where you will take the exam. MOSAIC engage has convenient locations in Vancouver and Surrey.

Step 4: Please select a calendar date. MOSAIC engage tests 7 days a week in our Computer Based IELTS program.

Uploading your ID

What is the deadline for uploading the ID?

Please upload your ID within 24 Hours of registering for the test. If your test is within 5 days from when you register, please upload your ID immediately after you make the payment.

What are the requirements for uploading the scan of my ID?

To make sure it is not rejected ensure it is a clear colour scan of your biographic page (the page with your name and photo) of the Passport . ID’s that are not clear will be rejected by the system. Black and white scans as well will be rejected by the system.

What is the process to upload your ID to the online portal?

First, once you have finished the registration process selecting your date time and test format, you will be prompted to upload your ID.

Second, make sure that the scanned file is saved on your computer. Make sure that it is in one of the following formats: PDF, JPG, PNG, JPEG, GIF. The file size cannot exceed 3MB.

Third, you can upload a second file again using the file format and sizes listed above. To complete the process please click Upload Files.

Sending the ID to us to Upload

I am having trouble uploading my ID to the system. Can you help?

Definitely! If you provide us a colour scan of your ID with the same size and format mentioned above we can upload the document to your account. Please send it to us as soon as you register and preferably within 24 hours of your registration.

What is the cost of this service?

Nothing, we will do this for free if you are submitting within the timeline.

How long will it take for you to upload my ID?

Given the tremendous amount of registrations we are experiencing we cannot deliver service as fast as we would like. We guarantee to upload your ID within 3 business days.

What is the process to send you my ID?

It’s simple!

Email colored scan copy of your valid Passport or PR CARD to ID_IELTS@mosaicbc.org

PLEASE NOTE: Include your full name and TEST DATE in subject line of email.

 

 

Test Cancellations due to not Uploading your ID

How long do I have to upload my ID after registration?

It is your responsibility to upload your ID. If you do not upload your ID to your account within 24 hours of registration, we reserve the right to cancel your test registration.
If your test is within 5 days from the date of registration, you must upload your ID immediately and 24 Hour rule will not apply.

If my registration is cancelled due to not submitting valid Passport/PR card, can I transfer to a future date?

Yes, you need to pay $40 Admin charges and fill out a transfer form requesting a future date. We would be able to reschedule for a future date subject to availability. You also must upload your ID to your test portal or email it to ID_Ielts@mosaicbc.org

How much does it cost to have my test date transferred or restored for not submitting valid Passport/PR card?

We would charge an admin fee of $40.

Is the transfer to a new date automatic?

Please note that the change to a new test date is subject to availability.

What are the steps to requesting a transfer to a new date if my test is cancelled for not submitting ID in time?
Please fill out the transfer form using the link given below, choose the right transfer type, and pay the associated charges. submit the ID as attachment and also email it to ID_ielts@mosaicbc.org
