When you complete the IELTS, and once your results are ready, we will mail out your results via regular mail to the address you filled at the time of IELTS registration unless you want to request it to be sent via registered mail (conditions apply) .The hard copy of results is called Test report form (TRF) which is your proof of IELTS completion and comes with a complete description of your test results. This is the form that you will need to use when institutions or governments are asking for your IELTS score. You will also be able to view your results in your online account portal with the British Council.
Please read the description below of all of the different ways you can receive your TRF, view your results, and order additional TRF’s for different purposes. If you have any questions about your TRF please send us an email.
Note: For IELTS on Computer, you will only receive eTRF or an electronic copy of your Test Report Form 3-5 days from your test day in your British Council Test Portal. The eTRF is accepted by IRCC for immigration and universities and colleges for admission. If you still need a Printed TRF, you can order one on our website by paying an admin fee via regular mail, or via registered mail.

How to receive your original TRF
How can I receive my TRF?
There are two options:
General Mail
- This is free and we will automatically send your TRF to the address on your British Council Registration unless you request otherwise. The general/regular mail can’t be tracked and no estimate of delivery time is available.
Registered Mail
- There is an extra fee for this and you need to request this service. This option is more secure and often quicker than general mail. To request this service or find more information see below.
Can I pick it up in-person at your address?
An appointment must be booked at least 2 business days before your results are released for in -person pick up. an email confirming your appointment will be sent out if your appointment is confirmed. It is subject to appointment availability. Results can only be picked at our Admin Office location at Unit 200, 7134, King George Blvd.

If I order it via general mail, can MOSAIC engage track the delivery?
No, once the TRF is processed and sent via general mail by MOSAIC engage, we cannot track your package. Any questions about tracking cannot be answered.
Can you send me an electronic copy of my TRF?
No, British Council does not allow test centers under any circumstances to email TRF’s to clients. There are no exceptions.
When can I expect my TRF?
Please see below the information on when we issue your TRF. Please allow for 5 business days on top for the delivery of your TRF via general or registered mail:
IELTS on Paper Test Report Forms (TRFs) - Online Results will be available to you on 13th Calendar day after your test date and TRF’s will be mailed on the same day as your results are released. Please see above for the 3 options for getting your results.
IELTS on Computer, Test Report Forms (TRFs) - Online results will be available to you between 3-5 days after your test date and TRF’s will be mailed on the same day as results are released.

How many organizations can I send my TRF to? What are the charges
You can request a TRF be sent to up to 10 organizations. For up to 5 organizations, there is no charge for Additional TRF. For more than 5 organizations, $40 charge applies for each additional TRF. If you wish to send your score via registered mail to any or all of organizations, additional courier charges apply based on address location. However, If you want to send Additional TRF’s via regular mail, there is no additional cost. Some organizations accept scores Electronically, in this case also there is no additional cost.
Please note: Electronic Scores doesn’t mean they are sent via email.
Immigration consultants and IRCC are not considered under recognizing organization.
How much is the fee to order an additional TRF be sent via registered mail to a recognizing organization?
You can request a TRF be sent via registered mail. There is a charge required. This charge depends on the location. Please Note: There is no charge for Additional TRF for up to 5 Organizations, This charge is only for registered mail.

d. International ($85).
What are the steps to requesting my TRF be sent to recognizing organizations?
First, fill in the Additional TRF FORM to send scores to Recognizing organizations and your request will be processed. Within 3 Business days we will send you an automated email confirming that your request has been processed.
