How are you enjoying your time in Vancouver? What do you do?

I am enjoying my time in Vancouver by exploring the various tourist attractions in the city, such as Stanley Park, Granville Island, and Capilano Suspension Bridge. I have also been indulging in the delicious local cuisine, trying out different restaurants and cafes.

I am a professional who works remotely for the Brazilian company CERTIFIC BRASIL. Working from home allows me to have the flexibility to balance my responsibilities as a homemaker in Vancouver with the professional tasks I perform for the company. This enables me to enjoy my time in Vancouver while keeping my career active.

What are the big cultural differences in between your home country and Canada?

In Brazil, it is common for people to greet each other with a warm hug or a kiss on the cheek, even when meeting for the first time. In Canada, however, a handshake is the more common form of greeting, and physical contact is generally less common, especially with acquaintances or strangers.

Time perception and punctuality can differ between Brazil and Canada. In Brazil, there is a more relaxed attitude towards time, and it is not uncommon for meetings or social gatherings to start a bit later than scheduled. In Canada, there is a stronger emphasis on punctuality, and it is generally expected to arrive on time for appointments and events

Where is your favourite restaurant? And why?

Good Sushi is my favorite Japanese food restaurant here in Vancouver. They serve an incredible variety of authentic Japanese dishes, from fresh sushi and sashimi to flavorful ramen and delectable tempura. The quality of their ingredients and the skillful preparation make every meal a delightful experience. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff also add to the overall dining pleasure. I highly recommend Good Sushi to anyone who appreciates Japanese cuisine or wants to explore it further.
