Events in Vancouver: Trout Lake Farmers Market
Farmers Markets in and around Vancouver have become more than just a venue to purchase local produce, they are vibrant weekly events that provide a place for people to explore local parks, grab a coffee or a bite from one of the many food vendors, and to connect with the community!
The Trout Lake Farmers Market just opened on Saturday, April 6th and will be held every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM until the end of October.
Vendors sell fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as handmade and artisan products. Food stalls and food trucks are also on site.
There are more farmers markets to also check out in different neighbourhoods in Vancouver. This is a great way to explore the city and support small local businesses.
Trout Lake is located in John Hendry Park which just a few blocks away from our MOSAIC engage Commercial Drive location and is a hidden gem in the city.
The small lake and surrounding park is a great place to walk around and there’s a small sandy beach on one side of the lake, which is especially lovely in the summer.
