Job interviews are inherently nerve-racking which is why preparation and practice is key! Learn commonly used phrases and words that we can use to effectively express ourselves during the job search process.
In addition to our résumé and cover letter, job interviews give us the opportunity to showcase our communication skills and to show the employers how and why we would be a good fit for their company.
It’s important for us to talk about ourselves, our strengths, and our achievements with confidence, but we also have to show that we are willing to learn and adapt, and that we are team players.
Let’s look at some appropriate phrases and vocabulary that can help make a positive impression during job interviews.
