Today’s language of the day is In honour of the 12th annual MOSAIC job fair happening May 14th 2024 at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster! Over 4,000 job seekers are expected to attend. They will meet employers, make connections, distribute resumes, and maybe even line up an interview.
Each year, this event provides the opportunity for newcomers to connect with employers from various industries, such as business, health care, and construction.
If you are one of the 4.6K attendees of this year’s job fair, don’t forget to schmooze with the employers and the other guests. Ask questions about their companies, talk about your experience, and try to learn what they are looking for.
It’s not only great practice for your English, but you just might land a new job too!
Even if you don’t need a new job, don’t forget to keep your schmoozing skills sharp for your next party, event, or conference.
