Employment & Workplace Communication

Mondays & Wednesdays, 1:00pm-2:30pm @Commercial Drive

Focus on building your communication skills for success in the workplace and in seeking employment.

  • Improve your employability or your job performance by focusing on English skills that come up at work on a daily basis.

  • Learn about Canadian workplace culture and how to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

  • Develop your grammar and vocabulary around workplace contexts like meetings, emails, and interviews.

  • Improve your ability to describe your job and skills, both in writing and in speaking.

  • Get personalized corrections and feedback from your instructor and collaborate with a diverse class of working adults.

Speaking & Fluency

Focus on building your fluency in English through conversation-centred lessons

  • Develop greater fluency in English through speaking practice and benefit from personalized feedback from your instructor

  • Learn English grammar and vocabulary around new topics and practice using them in conversation

  • Improve your sentence structure for clarity and coherence when speaking.

  • Challenge yourself to speak about new topics in English
