1) Tell us a bit about yourself

I am Hong Nguyen, I come from Vietnam. I’m 40 years old and I am a welder. I have been living here almost 2 years but I could really improve my English, that is why I decided to take English classes at Mosaic Language Centre.

2) How do you spend your free time in Vancouver?

In my free time, I like to play with my children.

3) What are some of the challenges you’ve faced moving to Canada?

I have many things I have to faced when I moved to Canada. For example, I don’t speak English well, so everything was very hard to me. Especially understanding and communicating with everybody.

4) What place would you recommend to someone visiting Canada for the first time?

I would recommend that they would visit places like Grouse Mountain, this place is located in North Vancouver or they also can visit Banff Lake in Alberta, it is very beautiful as well.
