Tell us about yourself

I recently graduated in finance and decided to take a break in Canada after my studies. I’m curious and motivated, and I enjoy discovering new cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds. This experience is also a way for me to improve my English and gain more confidence for the future.

How do you spend your free time in Vancouver?

I enjoy walking around the city, going on hikes, and exploring new neighborhoods. I also like relaxing in cafés and spending time outdoors—Vancouver makes it easy to enjoy both city life and nature.

What are some challenges you’ve faced with moving to Canada?

The biggest challenge has been the language—especially becoming fluent and understanding conversations quickly. Being away from family and adjusting to a new culture has been a learning experience, but it’s helping me become more independent.

Which place would you recommend to someone visiting your country?

I’d recommend Paris for its culture and charming streets, but also the South of France, especially the Côte d’Azur, for its beautiful landscapes, relaxed lifestyle, and sunny beaches. Both give a great sense of what France has to offer.

What are you hoping to achieve during your time at MOSAIC?

My main goal is to improve my English—gain fluency, build vocabulary, and feel more confident speaking. I also hope to learn new skills, gain experience, and meet people from different backgrounds, which will help me grow personally and professionally.
