Tell us about yourself

My name is Nataly, I am Mexican and have been living in Canada for 2 years. I love how kind and multicultural the city is.

How do you spend your free time in Vancouver?

I really enjoy running and walking, always in different locations; it helps me get to know the city better. I also like spending my free time in thrift stores, you never know what you might find!

What is the best place in Vancouver to get food from your country?

My favorite dish from my city in Mexico is called pozole and I found a good one at a place called Taqueria Jalisco.

What some challenges you’ve faced with moving to Canada?

Arriving in the country alone, without family or friends and not speaking the language, was the biggest challenge.

What are you hoping to achieve during your time at MOSAIC?

I hope to continue improving my English. I also want to keep meeting people and spending time with the wonderful friends I've made there.
