Tell me about yourself!
I am Sukumaya currently living in Richmond, Vancouver. I am here as an open work permit holder. I am currently working here. In MOSAIC, I am studying a basic-level English Course.
What was your first expression of Vancouver and has this been changed?
My first experience of Vancouver was good. I got a chance to meet people from different countries with different cultures.
What are your plans for this upcoming winter break?
For this winter break, I do not have any definite plans but I am thinking of traveling around some famous places around Vancouver.
Have you found a restaurant that serves your hometown food? And which menu would you recommend for us?
Yes, We have a few restaurants serving my hometown food. There is not much variety but It is good. I would recommend trying Thakali thali which is a full-course meal with different food.
How are you enjoying studying at MOSAIC engage?
I find MOSAIC engage very interesting. The teachers are well-qualified and engaging. They also teach us about other practical matters apart from the language.
