Events in Vancouver: Big Elf Run

This week is Vancouver’s 2023 Big Elf Fun! This is a fun Christmas-themed race where runners dress up in elf costumes with cute hats and run around the iconic Stanley Park.

The event happens on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 and gives runner the option of choosing different lengths for their run. Of course, you can also walk if you want to. This is just a fun and social event, not a competition.

The routes are 1, 5, 10, or 15 kilometres in length. But remember, the Big Elf Run isn’t a race! The only requirement is to finish the event in two hours.

Kids can also take part in the Wee Elf Run that’s just 1 kilometre long.

In 2023 the run is happening on Saturday, December 9th, from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm at Lumberman’s Arch in Stanley Park. The kids’ event starts at 1:00 pm while the longer runs start an hour later.
