Events in Vancouver: Brazilian Carnaval on Granville Island
Latincouver brings Brazilian Carnaval to Granville Island on Saturday, February 17th for two fun-filled events!
“Feel the Rhythm, Embrace the Beat, Brazilian Carnaval - Where Fun and Heart Meet.”
The Brazilian Carnaval Family Event will be held from 11:00am to 5:00pm and gives children the opportunity to learn and celebrate Brazilian culture with music, dance, and lots of other fun activities.
Later that evening, The Brazilian Carnaval Night Party features even more music and dancing from 9:00pm to 1:00am, with a variety of performances as well as delicious food and drinks!
Location for both events: Performance Works-Granville Island 1218 Cartwright St, Vancouver, BC V6H 3R8

Activities:
Arcade Games, Arts & Crafts, Capoeira class, Photo Booth, Carreta Furacao, Dance Station, Bailinho de carnaval, Face Painting, Batucada Band, and Carnaval Costume Competition

Discover Brazilian culture and traditions with Samba, Batucada, and other typical Brazilian performances, plus the most delicious Vancouver Carnival food and excellent beer options, and typical Brazilian drinks. Costumes are encouraged!
