Join this free outdoor concert that is featuring an eclectic lineup of legendary artists, rising stars and diverse musicians who will fill the air with soul-stirring melodies and infectious rhythms.
Whether you're a long-time fan or new to the scene, the Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival offers an inclusive, family-friendly environment with some of the region’s most popular food trucks, a beer garden and more. Mark your calendars for a weekend of pure musical magic and vibrant experiences!
Food vendors, and beer and wine service will be available on site, and attendees are also welcome to bring their own food.

The day after, on Sunday, the first-ever Dished Food Truck Fest is happening in downtown Vancouver and entry is free!
This must-attend event is set to take place on Sunday, August 11 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and will feature a whopping 18 food trucks, live music, and artisan market from BC Shop Local.

This is also a good opportunity to check out Deer Lake Park which offers scenic views of the lake, trees and surrounding areas as well as many connecting walking trails along and around the lake.
Deer Lake is also where you'll find the Burnaby Art Gallery, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, Burnaby Village Museum and more. It's a hub of activity during the busy summer season, hosting concerts and festivals on the Festival Lawn.
