Events in Vancouver: Caribbean Days

This summer, Caribbean Days Festival returns to Coquitlam’s Town Centre Park for the hottest weekend of the year.


Caribbean Days is a free event!

The crowd at Caribbean Days is fully multicultural and the event is 100% inclusive. Everyone is welcome and that includes kids!

Town Centre Park, Coquitlam BC

Getting to Caribbean Days is easy. Town Centre Park at Coquitlam’s Lafarge Lake is conveniently located near Coquitlam Centre, so the park can be reached easily via both car and Skytrain. 

Parade

Each year, the Festival comes alive with the sights and sounds of Carnival during the Parade In The Park! Enjoy the spectacle of a costumed revellers cavorting to hot music. The Caribbean Days Parade is truly a magnificent way to appreciate Caribbean culture, music and style.

Entertainment

Caribbean Days Festival features an amazing outdoor music festival.

Each year, the main sound stage plays host to a lineup of bands playing Soca, Reggae, Calypso, Latin, African and other international sounds to a large crowd. Singers, dancers and other performers entertain with sights and sounds from a wide range of cultures.

Food

Caribbean Days Festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year, and during the Festival is home to an array of delicious food and drink. Of course this includes the flavours of the Caribbean, with famous foods from Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados and other tropical locations. However, there’s a wide range of food for all ages including children, and all palates from tame to adventurous.
