Events in Vancouver: Lights at Lafarge

Did you know that every year there is a huge Christmas light display in Coquitlam? In fact, Lights at Lafarge is Metro Vancouver’s largest free outdoor winter lights display!

The lights are on fron 4pm-10pm every day, but the crowds will be smaller before 6 and after 8!

This season's beautiful light display features a 1.2-km path twith light displays that feature the plants, animals, and fairytales in addition to Christmas traditions!

It’s super easy to access! Just take the SkyTrain to the final stop of the Millenium/Evergreen line (Lafarge Lake-Douglas) and you’ll be at the park!

You’ll find more than just lights here, there will also be food vendors so you can grab a treat or beverage to keep you warm.

Stop by the Town Centre Community Plaza every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to take part in special activities like Pirate Parties, Fairytale fun, or Christmas caroling!

This event runs until February, so even if you miss the Christmas season, you can enjoy the lights well into 2024!
