Events in Vancouver: Lights at Lafarge Lake

Coquitlam's Lights at Lafarge Lake which features a 1.2 km path covered in lights will run until Monday, February 17, 2025!

Winter decorations and lights started to go up in November in and around Vancouver. But now, as winter is starting to come to an end and the days are getting longer, people are preparing for the spring. But winter isn’t over yet!

A lot of public light displays and decorations including the Lights at Lafarge, will run until February, so this is your last chance to enjoy the sights and atmosphere until next winter.

Lafarge Lake is a small lake (actually it’s more of a pond) which is conveniently located just outside of the Lafarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain station in Coquitlam. There is also public parking available.

This season's outdoor exhibit features a 1.2-km pathway around the lake that includes more lights and re-imagined elements. For the best viewing experience, consider planning your visit on weekdays or during off-peak hours (before 6 p.m. and after 8 p.m.).

The lights are on from 4:00 - 11:00 p.m. daily until Monday, February 29th.
