Events in Vancouver: Port Moody Car Free Day
Port Moody’s Car-Free Day is back! Join the fun on St. Johns Street, between Queens and Moody streets, from 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
This huge street celebration is filled with local businesses, musicians, delicious food, and family-friendly activities including over 100 community booths presented by local businesses, artisans, and non-profit groups.
St. Johns Street, between Douglas and Moody streets, will be closed to all vehicle traffic from 6am to 10pm. Parking is restricted, so visitors are encouraged to leave their car at home, and walk, bike, or take public transit to the celebration. For cyclists, you can park your bike for free between 12pm and 5pm with The Bicycle Valet
So hop on the SkyTrain and take the Evergreen line out to Port Moody this Sunday for a day of fun!
