Events in Vancouver: VIFF

This weekend the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF), will be wrapping up its 42nd season. VIFF is is one of the biggest film festivals in North America, featuring more than 300 films and up to 100,000 attendees each year.

At VIFF you can see internationally-acclaimed and award-winning movies as well as lesser known indie films, from around the word and from our own Canadian filmmakers. Many of the films are in English, but a plenty are in other languages with English subtitles.

Every genre of film is featured most years including action movies, comedies, dramas, documentaries, science fiction films, horror movies and more.

There are 138 films to enjoy from more than 70 different countries this year.
