Haebin Pan

As a Coordinator of Resilience BC Anti-Racism Spoke for Surrey and White Rock (Surrey Together Against Racism/STAR), Haebin (She/Her) is passionate about her work to support people living in BC communities affected by racism and discrimination. As a visible minority herself, Haebin knows how important it is for people to receive practical tools and assistance when they face hardship and discrimination due to their ethnic and racial backgrounds. She is determined in creating opportunities and safe spaces for people to work on meaningful projects towards the goal of an anti-racist community based on respect and care.

She holds a BA in English and a minor in learning and developmental disabilities from Simon Fraser University and worked in the education sector before joining MOSAIC's Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada [LINC] team in 2020. She believes in the power of education to foster inclusion and fairness for everyone. With this belief in mind, she feels grateful working for the Centre for Diversity.
