Zenia Ferreira

Zenia (She/Her) spent the first 5 years of her life in Mumbai, India before her family moved to Ontario, Canada. She is grateful to have lived and played on the Haldimand tract, the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishnaabe, and Haudenosaunee peoples in the formative years of her life, and now lives on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Indigenous people.

She received a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University and a Master of Public Service where her interest and frustration in health inequities led her to explore health policy. She has spent the last 10 years working in a variety of fields from health economics, change management consulting towards diversity and inclusion, and market research. The underlying thread has been to understand behaviour and strategy when working towards a joyful and equitable future.
