What is your role at MOSAIC Engage?
I'm a Program Support Worker, and one of my roles is to help the team and students by answering questions, finding solutions, and making sure they enjoy their experience. If you see me around, don't hesitate to ask any questions or simply say hello.
What was your most memorable moment at MOSAIC engage this year?
Joining Mosaic Engage as a Program Support Worker this year has been one of the most memorable moments for me. The support of the team has made the process of adapting and learning so much easier and enjoyable. I have had the opportunity to meet and help students from all over the world, and I am grateful for the whole experience.
What are your plans for the summer?
This summer, I’m all about exploring more of the Vancouver metro area on my bike and hiking the nearby mountains. The long days give me so much energy, and I can't wait to make the most of it!
As a former student, and now employee, what can our students expect from MOSAIC Engage classes?
As a former student of Mosaic Engage, I perfectly understand the effort and patience it takes to learn a new language. In that sense, I recognize the ability and empathy of each of the teachers to motivate and inspire the students.
As an employee, I enjoy seeing students’ progress from the first to the last day of class. I love seeing that there is no age or limit to learning. Now that I have witnessed all the behind-the-scenes effort to achieve this, I really enjoy being part of the support team and helping the students in this process. I hope they enjoy this experience as well.
Where is the best Mexican food in Vancouver?
I haven't found my favorite yet… I'm still in the exploration stage but If you have any recommendations, let me know, and I'd love to check them out! : )
