Community Profile: Raul + Tania

The Community Profile is a weekly interview with a member of our MOSAIC engage community.

This week, meet our students Raul and Tania, who recently came to Vancouver and studied with us.

Tell us about yourself and what you do at MOSAIC engage?

We are a Mexican couple who arrived in Vancouver 1 year ago. We are looking forward to living new experiences, excited to meet new people and cultures, and enjoying the fascinating landscapes that Canada has.

What do you like the most about studying at MOSAIC engage?

We have had an amazing time studying at MOSAIC engage. We loved the energy that the teachers share; they are always looking to make interactive lessons and sharing useful tips for day-by-day conversations or IELTS test.

What are your hobbies?

We love to ride bikes along the seawall track and play ping pong when the weather allows it, however in Raincouver we have been spending a lot of time watching movies.

What English activities you like the most during your classes?

We enjoy the reading and comprehension activities which help us to increase our vocabulary and improve our way to understand the language

Anything you would like to share about living in Vancouver or staying in MOSAIC?

Vancouver is a great place to meet people and get around their cultures where everyone is free to share their ideas.

Share with us of your favourite please to go when you do not feel well?

When we don't feel well, we like to walk around the sea wall, enjoying a delicious ice cream or if the day is cold we enjoy a tasty portion of Ramen, but the idea is to enjoy the beautiful views that Vancouver offers while we remember why we choose to start this adventure
