How do you spend your free time in Vancouver?

Living in a multicultural city is the opportunity to have different experiences. Vancouver is a great city with a lot of options to have fun. In my free time, I like to go to festivals, do hiking, go to meetups and also I like to try different kind of food and I really like visit diverse restaurants.

What is the best place in Vancouver to get food from your country?

Mexican community is very big in the city, you can find stores and restaurants. My recommendation to grab a delicious and authentic Mexican dishes are Mi casa mexicana, Taqueria Miltomates, Cielito lindo and Cantina el Patrón.

What some challenges you’ve faced with moving to Canada?

The weather is a big challenge, specifically on winter time. Find the correct clothes to be outside is necessary to feel the most comfortable with. On the other hand, the health service has different processes and time. In my opinion, for any eventuality is important to have a personal insurance being an international student.

What are you hoping to achieve during your time at MOSAIC?

I am learning the strategies to do the CELPIP test. I want to have the best practices and advices to have a good score. Thanks so much Mosaic for this time
