Community Profile: We went outside!

Last week, our Beginner class took to the streets to practice English out in the real world. Their teacher sent them on a scavenger hunt where they had to approach strangers and ask questions. Later they had to report their answers back to the class.

On the first day, students interviewed Vancouverites about their fashion and clothing choices using their new vocabulary. On the second outing, they asked directions using the right prepositions.

This was a big challenge for our students, but the best practice is out in the real world. Congratulations on the good work everybody!
