Community Profile: Yeonkab #2

Nine months ago, our Program Support Worker Yeonkab was the very first Community Profile we posted! This week he gave us an update on his first year at MOSAIC and what our students can expect in 2024.

Who are you and what do you do at MOSAIC engage?

Good morning, afternoon, and evening! My name is Yeonkab from South Korea and I am a program support worker here at MOSAIC engage, especially for the English program. I am here to assist with anything I can help you with to make your experiences more enjoyable! So, if you have any questions or concerns, throw them to me, and focus on studying English with our amazing teachers!

What was your most memorable moment at MOSAIC engage this year?

I am a little foodie so whenever students brought their own countries’ snacks! It always melts my heart. Not only that, I can hear all kinds of food receipts and secret travel locations for my upcoming vacations! I bet our students are way better than travel agents for giving you advice.

What are your plans for the winter break?

I am excited about my Hawaii trip, it is more likely during my spring break! It is going to be my family trip, I can not wait to show up my English to my parents! Hope they are proud of me.

What can our students expect next year at MOSAIC engage?

More Varieties of learning activities! our very qualified teachers are brainstoming more fun activities! If you want to know, I recommend you to join us and find out more! I am also planning to bring outside-of-school activities!! I might ask for some tips from you!!

Any recommendations for holiday activities?

I am not the best person to ask for holiday activities but I like going out for jogging!
