Events in Vancouver: 2nd Annual Black Culture Celebration

This weekend at Sunset Beach, come check out the second annual Black Culture Celebration, an all-ages showcase of the richness and diversity of black culture.

Performing live in concert are some of the country’s most influential hip-hop stars, including Kardinal Offishall, Rascalz, Maestro, and Choclair.

The event will also feature a marketplace, dance performances, beer gardens, and food vendors.

The 2023 Black Culture Celebration is called the “2nd annual,” but in fact, this is their fourth annual event. The first two both were in 2020 for Juneteenth and Emancipation Day. Overr 100,000 people attended online and more than 15,000 in person.

This year, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever.
