Events in Vancouver: Party for the Planet 2025
Party for the Planet is the largest Earth Day celebration in BC! This free all-day event will be returning to Surrey’s Civic Plaza on Saturday, April 26th, from 11am to 7 pm!
Earth Day is officially celebrated on April 22nd which happens to fall on a Tuesday this year. Activities and celebrations are planned for this coming weekend!
As BC’s largest Earth Day celebration, this free event is packed with exciting things to do for all ages. Whether you're coming with your family, friends, or flying solo, there’s something for everyone!
In addition to all the live music, dance performances and entertainment on stage, there will also be food trucks with a variety of delicious meals and treats, and a Sustainability Market with where you can discover local artisans, eco-friendly brands, and handmade products from small, environmentally-minded businesses!
There will also be a rock-climbing wall, a salmon walk and environmental education tent, as well as activities for children including coloring, puzzles, and games at the Surrey City Centre library!
Make sure to also check out the native plant sale and 500 complimentary tomato plants will be given out to attendees after the Welcome Ceremony with Mayor and Council at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, April 26 at Party for the Planet!
