Farmers’ Markets are a great excuse to get outside and see different parts of the city. Riley Park is centrally located and is literally in the geographical centre of Vancouver!
The market is held just outside of Nat Bailey Stadium which is the home of Vancouver’s local baseball team and it’s across the street from Queen Elizabeth Park. There are also a lot of shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby on Main Street.
The Riley Park Farmers’ Market has more than 70 vendors on site. In addition to fresh and local produce, they also have food trucks, baked goods, and vendors selling an array of artisanal goods.
Farmers’ Markets are also dog- and family-friendly and they have live entertainment including performances by musicians.
The Riley Park Winter Farmer’s Market is held every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
