Events in Vancouver: West of Main Art Walk
The West of Main Art Walk is Vancouver’s longest running art studio tour. This event is free and gives you the chance to visit artists’ studios where you can view and even purchase original artwork!
With studios all around Vancouver’s westside participating, you’ll have the opportunity to explore art, engage with artists, and learn stories behind their work.
The West of Main Art Walk is organized and hosted by ‘Artists in Our Midst’ which is a continuously running artists collective that has been in active in Vancouver since 1993.
They have a list of all of the participating studios and galleries, from the Point Grey neighbourhood, to Main Street and from Granville Island to 41st Avenue, and you can also find an interactive map on their website which allows the public to plan their route in advance or as they go.
