Understand how medications change as you age
As we age, our bodies process medicines differently. A dose that once worked well may now be too strong or less effective. This practical workshop explains why those changes happen and outlines actions you and your health-care provider can consider so your current medications match your body’s needs. The session is delivered in Farsi and English to make information clear and accessible.
What you’ll learn
Why ageing affects medications: how body changes can alter effectiveness and side effects.
Partnering with your provider: ways to discuss dose, timing, and whether any medicines might be adjusted or stopped.
Medication reviews: when and how to review your medicines to keep them safe and useful.
Noticing concerns: what to pay attention to and when to seek advice.
Presented by a speaker from the Seniors’ Health & Wellness Institute (COSCO).
Who should attend
Older adults and community members interested in staying safe and informed about everyday medication use. All are welcome to join and bring questions.
