This isn’t just a walkathon. Each stop along the route marks a milestone that newcomers to Canada navigate: finding a home, getting a SIN, landing that first job, and building a life in a new country. As you walk, you’ll experience the resilience and hope behind every step MOSAIC has supported over 50 years.
Join us for a vibrant celebration featuring live performances, community booths, food trucks, interactive kids’ activities, prizes, and storytelling – all set in the heart of Burnaby!

The Route
A 1 km festive walk/run inside Swangard Stadium, a fun shorter walk for anyone to enjoy.
A 5-km Community Walk in Central Park, map details coming soon!

Families, youth, seniors, workplaces, community partners, and neighbours from all backgrounds are invited to take part in the MOSAIC Moves Walkathon.
You do not need to be an athlete or an experienced fundraiser. Whether you walk at your own pace, bring your children, gather coworkers, or simply come to enjoy the celebration, there is a place for you here.
This event is about movement, connection, and showing up for one another. Together, we celebrate 50 years of supporting newcomers and building welcoming communities throughout Metro Vancouver.
